特殊砖块
| 特殊砖块 | 生成方式 | 作用 |

| 炸弹 | An L, T or + shape. | Blasts the 3×3 square around it, twice. |
| 彩色炸弹 | Five in a line. | Takes every plain brick of one colour: swap it with that colour. |
| 追踪飞镖 | A 2×2 square. | Flies to a piece a goal needs. |
轻点特殊砖块让它原地引爆，或把它和相邻的砖块交换。直线爆破也可以不引爆，直接从同色出口滑出去。
组合
把两个特殊砖块互相交换，效果更大：

| Dart + any special | The dart carries the special to its target. Two darts hit three targets. |
障碍
轻点任意障碍，就会有一句话提醒你怎么清除它。它们的外观随村庄而变（农场里是干草捆，花园城 里是花盆），但规则不变。

封闭房间和它们的盖子
有些砖块在盖子下面，盖子打开之前不能移动。盖子共有五种：

出口
- 开放出口
- 接收同色的砖块。对于长砖，出口的宽度很重要。
- 冰封出口
- 每当有砖块回家，或它前面的砖块被消除时，就会解冻一点。打开后，把同色砖块滑进去。
- 计数出口
- 只接收一定数量的砖块，然后永久关闭。要选好送哪些砖块。
- 分阶段出口
- 在棋盘第二阶段目标开始之前一直封闭。
无障碍
出口也带有其颜色对应的符号；在高对比度棋盘上，颜色与底板相近的出口会有双色轮廓。
背面朝上的砖块、传送门和异形砖块
- 背面朝上的“?”砖块 会隐藏自己的颜色。当它们旁边的砖块离开棋盘时才会翻开；移动它们不会翻开。它们始终按真实颜色参与游戏。
- 传送门 成对出现：把砖块滑进其中一个，它会从另一侧的孪生传送门出来。
- 长砖、大砖、L 形和 T 形砖 会整块滑动和下落，永远不能交换，永远不计入连线，需要和它们一样宽的出口。任何道具都不能选中它们。
十二种棋盘
每座完整的村庄都有十二个棋盘，第 1 至 12 个棋盘的种类始终相同，所以你会熟悉村庄的节奏：

| 9 | Locks and Moss | Locks to free and moss that spreads. |
| 10 | Stone Lanes | Statues that block the way. |
| 11 | The Big Day | A bigger finale, often with a sealed bed. |
| 12 | Quiet Puzzle | Bricks fall without refilling: think it through. |
