OutBrick Community
Community guidelines
OutBrick Community is a calm place to get help and shape the game. These are the few rules that keep it that way.
Updated 7 October 2026
Be kind
Everyone here plays differently: with VoiceOver, with Switch Control, one-handed, in a second language, or for the very first time. Answer the question that was asked, assume good faith, and disagree with ideas, never with people.
- No insults, harassment, hate or threats.
- No pile-ons: if someone has already been answered, upvote instead of repeating.
- Do not mock a question. Every expert asked it once.
Keep personal information private
Never post your own or anyone else’s email address, phone number, home address, Apple ID, Game Center login, purchase receipts or payment details. We never need them in public, and the team will never ask for them here.
Screenshots can show more than you meant: check for names and notifications before you post one.
Bug reports that help
A good report lets us see the bug on our own device. The bug form asks for exactly what we need.
- Your device, its iOS or iPadOS version and the OutBrick version.
- Whether VoiceOver, Voice Control, Switch Control, Zoom or another setting was on.
- Numbered steps from opening the app, what you expected and what happened.
- One bug per thread. Search first, and add to an existing report rather than starting a duplicate.
Spoilers
Some players love working a board out alone. Start a post that gives away a solution or a late-Journey surprise with “Spoiler:” and the level it is about, so people can skip it, and keep the answer out of the thread title.
Stay on topic, and post in any language
Post in the category that fits and keep each thread to its topic. Write in whichever language is easiest for you and set the language on your post, so readers of that language can find it. No advertising, referral links or links to unofficial copies of the game.
Moderation and appeals
Moderators and the OutBrick team may edit a title, move a thread, hide a post, lock a thread or suspend an account when these guidelines are broken. Every action is logged. If one of your posts is hidden, we email you the reason.
If you think we got it wrong, reply to that email or use the contact form within 30 days, and someone who was not involved will look at it again.
- Report a post with its Report button. Reports are private.
- A member’s first posts with links wait for a moderator before they appear.
Your account and your data
Only your display name is public. You can download everything we hold about you, or delete your account, at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your profile; your posts stay, signed “Former member”, so threads still make sense. The privacy policy explains what is stored and why.
