Advertising choices

OutBrick shows rewarded video only — an ad plays when, and only when, you press a button asking for something, such as a life, undos or more moves. There are three controls, and all three are yours:

• Never watch one. Declining costs nothing. Every reward, level and price is identical whether you watch or not; waiting for a life to come back is always free.
• Change your consent. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google’s consent form appears before the first ad and can be reopened at any time from Advertising choices in OutBrick Settings. iOS separately asks whether the app may use the advertising identifier for tracking; you can change that answer in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking, and saying no changes nothing about the game.
• Turn them off for good. Remove Ads, or owning the current season’s Brick Pass, stops ad requests. If a reward is offered without a video, its own eligibility and daily allowance apply; check the options shown in the game. Neither purchase makes lives, moves or boosters unlimited. Older versions may differ.

OutBrick data

The app stores progress, coins, boosters, settings and accessibility preferences locally and can sync the private save through your own iCloud account. Optional analytics sends the limited events described below, not your private iCloud save or a copy of the board. The developer does not receive face data or operate a game account system.

Camera and face data

The camera-free update (build 18) removes face tracking. In an older iOS build, turn off “Look at me (camera)” in OutBrick Settings or revoke Camera permission in device Settings to prevent camera access. Face values are processed temporarily on the device, not saved as a dataset or sent to us. Read the face-data policy for the exact information, uses, storage, and retention practices in earlier builds.

Game Center

If you use Game Center, Apple manages the associated account, leaderboards, achievements, and challenges. You can sign out of Game Center or change its permissions in iOS Settings. Requests about Game Center account data should be directed to Apple.

Purchases and receipts

Apple processes App Store and in-app purchases. OutBrick does not receive your payment card information. Use Apple’s Report a Problem service for a refund or billing request, and use Restore Purchases in the app when you need to restore an eligible purchase.

Optional in-app analytics

On supported iPhone and iPad builds, App analytics in OutBrick Settings is off by default. We do not configure the Firebase Analytics SDK or queue gameplay events before you explicitly opt in. Declining does not change levels, rewards, purchases or access to the game. The choice applies to this installation, separately from this website’s cookie banner.

You can turn App analytics off in OutBrick Settings. This stops new analytics collection and resets the local analytics identifier and our local transaction-deduplication ledger. It does not remotely delete information already received by Google or OutBrick, and does not undo earlier lawful processing. Use the privacy contact and rights described in this policy for a data request; do not send payment details or a full receipt.

Optional in-app analytics

Performance and crash diagnostics

Apple MetricKit performance and crash diagnostics are separate from optional gameplay analytics. The App analytics switch does not control those existing diagnostic reports, Apple’s own App Store diagnostics or advertising consent. We use diagnostics to investigate crashes, hangs and performance problems, not as consent to collect optional gameplay analytics.

Website analytics

This section describes analytics on this website only. It has a separate browser consent choice from optional App analytics in the game.

If the button does nothing, for example because JavaScript is switched off, Google Analytics cannot run either. You can also remove your answer and any Google Analytics cookies by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. What is measured, and for how long, is explained in the privacy policy under Website analytics.

Our emails

• The newsletter: every OutBrick News email links to a preferences page where you can choose your topics — new versions, tips and guides, events and seasons — change the language, or unsubscribe with one click. The newsletter records opens and clicks; if you stop reading it, we ask you once whether you still want it, and remove you if you do not answer within 14 days.
• Community emails: switch each kind of notification off in your community settings; every notification email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Security emails, such as a sign-in from a new browser, cannot be switched off while you have an account.
• Support and applications: we keep a support case for 24 months after it is closed or resolved, and an application for 24 months after our decision. Ask us through the contact form if you want either deleted sooner.

The OutBrick Community

The app itself has no user-generated content and no chat. Separately, this website has the OutBrick Community, an optional, moderated forum for people aged 16 and over, or older where the age of digital consent is higher. If you join, your community settings let you change your email preferences, download everything we hold about your account and delete the account yourself. The privacy policy explains what the community stores.

Questions or deletion requests

The game has no account database, so for the app there is normally no server profile for us to retrieve or delete. If you have sent us something — a support message, or a contact, affiliate or job form on this website — use the OutBrick contact form with the topic set to Privacy, and tell us what you want removed; we delete it from our inbox, from our database and from the form service that stores website submissions (see Forms on this website). Please do not send payment details, passwords, or government identifiers.
